Hemir & His band è un gruppo musicale italiano che catapulta il pubblico nel cuore pulsante dell'America con il loro coinvolgente repertorio di country, rock'n'roll e boogie.
Il loro nuovo e secondo lavoro, "Electric Honky Tonk", ne è la prova concreta: un album godibile ed autentico. Ascoltandolo si ha la sensazione di essere in viaggio per le polverose strade del Far West americano, dimenticando che si tratta di una band italiana.
Emir Trerè è il cantante, chitarrista e leader della band che comprende la sezione ritmica formata da Luca Pasotti al basso e seconda voce, Maunuel Cucaro alla batteria; ad aiutare i Nostri anche Davide Falconi al piano e Luca Petru ai cori.
Nato nel 1992, ha coltivato fin da piccolo, grazie al padre, una profonda passione per il mondo americano. Questa fascinazione si riflette soprattutto nella musica, che è diventata il tratto distintivo della sua identità artistica.
Il disco si compone di dieci tracce molto godibili, tra cui tre brani originali e sette reinterpretazioni personali di pezzi non sempre molto conosciuti tranne la traccia di apertura, "A Fistful Of Dollars" (Per un pugno di dollari), celebre brano del Maestro Ennio Morricone, rivisitato in modo estremamente piacevole.

Tra i brani composti per l’occasione spicca la country ballad “The Dreams Goes Along” che vede protagonista la voce profonda di Trerè e l’ottimo piano di Davide Falconi.
Poi ecco "Today (You Want Me To Be There)", una ballata intensa, sempre scritta dal nostro Emir, che evoca le verdi ed incontaminate vallate dell'America raccontata dai grandi Hank Williams e Johnny Cash, che tanto ci hanno fatto sognare.
“Luisiana Boogie” ci trasporta negli anni ‘50 in un locale fumoso dove un piano piangeva i suoi boogie … molto bello l’arrangiamento che vede anche un breve ma ottimo assolo di chitarra.
Per concludere questo excursus sulla scaletta del disco, vorrei citare "Honky Tonk Fever", brano scelto come primo singolo, scritto da Emir Trerè. Questa canzone ci trasporta nell'atmosfera dell'American graffiti che noi appassionati della musica americana abbiamo tanto amato.
Per concludere, consiglio di ascoltare questo ottimo lavoro in auto mentre viaggiate magari lungo la Highway 61 dei vostri sogni.

Emir & His Band is an Italian musical group that transports the audience into the pulsating heart of America with their captivating repertoire of country, rock 'n' roll, and boogie. Their new and second album, "Electric Honky Tonk," is solid proof of this: an enjoyable and authentic album. Listening to it, you get the feeling of traveling along the dusty roads of the American Far West, forgetting that it's an Italian band.
Emir Trerè is the singer, guitarist, and leader of the band, which includes the rhythm section formed by Luca Pasotti on bass and backing vocals, Manuel Cucaro on drums, with additional support from Davide Falconi on piano and Luca Petru on backing vocals.
Born in 1992, Emir cultivated a deep passion for the American world from a young age, thanks to his father. This fascination is particularly reflected in the music, which has become the distinctive feature of his artistic identity.
The album consists of ten very enjoyable tracks, including three original songs and seven personal reinterpretations of pieces that are not always well-known, except for the opening track, "A Fistful Of Dollars," the famous piece by Maestro Ennio Morricone, revisited in a very pleasant way.
Among the original compositions, the country ballad "The Dreams Goes Along" stands out, featuring Trerè's deep voice and the excellent piano of Davide Falconi.
Then there is "Today (You Want Me To Be There)," another intense ballad, also written by Emir, which evokes the green and unspoiled valleys of the America narrated by the greats Hank Williams and Johnny Cash, who made us dream so much.
"Luisiana Boogie" transports us to the 1950s in a smoky club where a piano cries out its boogie ... the arrangement is very beautiful, featuring a brief but excellent guitar solo.
To conclude this overview of the album's tracklist, I would like to mention "Honky Tonk Fever," the first single chosen, written by Emir Trerè. This song takes us into the atmosphere of American graffiti that we American music enthusiasts have loved so much.
In conclusion, I recommend listening to this excellent work in the car while traveling, perhaps along the Highway 61 of your dreams.
